Demolition Fairies

Fairy Alice and Fairy Julie as they survey their handiwork.  The girls have become experts at creating an enormous mess in a short period of time.  And sibling rivalry has given way to something more formidable - cooperation.

Alice and Julie are getting along very well, entertaining each other even when they are supposed to be going to sleep.

Foster cousin Dakota helped to 'hide' the easter eggs this Easter.  He was visiting for the weekend.  They were 'hidden' so thouroughly that the hunt lasted about five minutes.

What did the dotted quarter note...

Joe wanted a copy of this, so I thought I would post it here.

The Great Weed Burn

When we moved into our new house, we found a continuous sea of rolling...tumbleweed in the side and back yard.  I wish I had taken a before and after shot.  In this video, we are about 2/3 of the way done clearing and burning.  Burning in a semi-arid desert is a little dangerous.  The neighbor brought an extra hose over from his hose bib just in case things got out of hand.  I really didn't want to go down in history as the guy that burned down Roosevelt, Utah, so I took every precaution.

We had a variety of noxious weeds in our yard including the Russian Thistle and Common Tumbleweed.  You can tell when foster brother Dakota tosses a russian thistle on the barbie - it has a high oil content and really flares up.

Here is the exciting sequel to the first video...

The Inaugural Post

Laugh it up! I know, I said I'd never do one of these blog thingies, and here I am with my own blog. I just got tired of trying to upload pictures and videos through Skype and Gtalk so Nana could see precious grandchild moments. This is a practical alternative. I also found out I can post from Word 2007, which is what I am doing right now.

This will probably be a very bare-bones attempt. Don't bother checking it for new posts. I'll email you whenever I do post.
